Select the icons to be included in the subVI as shown above. These are the icons used to read the voltage of the LDR and convert the voltage to Lux. Ensure you are using the Position/Select/Size tool. Move the cursor to the top left corner and hold down the mouse button. Drag to the bottom left corner making sure only the icons shown above are enclosed. Release the mouse button and the icons and their wires will be hightlighted.
From the menu, Select Edit->Create SubVI
