Exercise 4 – Multiplot Chart and Alarm

Objective

  • Learn how to plot multiple values

  • Learn about Boolean Comparison

  • Learn about Clusters

In the last exercise, you learnt how to create a trend chart with user defined delays. Many times, you would like the program to warn the user if certain threshold are reached. In our example, plants exposed to excessive light may not flower properly or may turn pale green.

You may also want to compare the measured intensity with the threshold value over time. In such instances, a multi plot chart is useful. In this exercise, you will build on the previous exercise to add the alarm and multiple plots to the chart.
