Block Diagram

  1. Select Window->Show Diagram to display the block diagram. Complete the diagram as shown

    When the loop is exits, the mean, max and min light intensity values are calculated. At the same time, the data is saved to a file.

  2. Insert Mean from Functions-> Analyze->Mathematics-> Probability & Statistics palette. This VI returns the average of the light intensity measurements from an array of light intensity values.

  3. Insert Array Max & Min from Functions->Array palette. This VI returns the maximum and minimum light intensity from an array of light intensity values.

  4. Insert the Write LabVIEW Measurements File Express VI from Function->File I/O palette.

    When you connect a wire to the Signals input, the Convert to Dynamic Data function will be added into the wire automatically.

  5. Use the Wiring tool from the Tools Palette to wire the icons as shown in the above block diagram.
