1. Insert numeric constants from Functions -> Numeric palette.

    After inserting the constant, right mouse click on it. When the pop up menu appears, select Properties. To make the representation as binary rather than the default decimal, first in the Appearance Tab, select show Radix.

    In the Format and Precision Tab, choose Binary. Click OK.

  2. Insert the remainder of the icons, which you have used in the previous exercises.

  3. Use the Wiring tool from the Tools Palette to wire the icons as shown in the above block diagram.

  4. Go back to the Front Panel

  5. Click the Run button to run the VI. The lights will stay green until the button is pressed. When the button is pressed, the lights changed to yellow and then red and then back to green..

  6. Press to stop the VI.

  7. Save the VI. Select File->Save. Call the file Pedestrian Crossing.vi Close the VI.
